A day in the life (of me) - Nothing special

Today, I woke up at 6:00 intending to finish some of my calculus homework before I went to school. I woke up at 6 (surprisingly), but then I spent the next 45 minutes huddling in my bed. Eventually, I got my butt up and I made breakfast for myself. Around 7:05, I realized that my sister hadn’t woken up yet, so I woke her up. She never ever sets her alarm clock, and one of these days, I’m just going to go to school without her. Her carpool arrived to pick her up at 7:15, so I gave her the sandwich I made.

I left around 7:20 for school, and I went to school, I found a bunch of students just crowded around the entrance of school. Interestingly enough, it turned out that there was a fire at school, and we watched the fire department drive away before the school admin let us back on campus. I passed the time talking to Nicholas.

We finally got to our classroom at 7:35. The only problem was that Mr. Pelkey hadn’t shown up yet, so our entire class stood outside for a couple minutes waiting for him to navigate through the traffic. AP Econ was uneventful, except for that we actually learned something. 2nd period (Contemp Lit) was a drag. Kaufman, who had been gone for the past week on the WorldStuds field trip, came back and ******* at us for the entire class period about how much she hated our class and how bad we were at writing essays. Great, huh?

4th period, I found out that I scored a 85 on my physics test (dropped my grade to an 88 :/). 5th period, I finished my calc homework after borrowing a textbook from a friend.  6th period, DeRuiter taught for the first part of class, then I finished around 60% of my homework in class.

During 7th, I biked to the post office to drop off my PLNU application, then I biked back to school. I spent the rest of 7th finishing my calc homework and tutoring Josh on force and pressure. I’m so glad I took physics, it makes calc feel so easy…

After school, I went “running” with the team. We ran to Linda Vista, then played CTF for a good hour, using the two playground things as bases. I had a blast. Ajay went bushwacking a couple hundred feet off the trail just to sneak up from behind. Stephen hid in the bushes for 15 minutes to surprise Ajay when he came bushwhacking back to our base. I was guarding Julia and Kirsten at the three way fork into our base, as they launched several unsuccessful attempts to get at our playground. Michael went shirtless/pantless and played defense the entire time. I spent the entire time juking Pearl and Michael and Jenny to get their flag. It worked a couple times, but I was sprinting so hard (-.-). There were also a couple other people there. My team lost both games, but I honestly think that the other team had the advantage because of the locations of the bases and the midline and the big fat ridge.

When I got home, my mom told me that she wouldn’t sign my track forms unless I fixed my scheduling conflicts. I have one week to fix my schedule. :(

Hmm… I guess the rest of my dad was pretty uneventful. I finished all my lit and physics homework for the week, and calc homework for the next couple of days. The only thing left this week is to study for that lit essay (grrr…) and do the physics lab.

Okay, pretty fun day. Sadly, the best part of my days are the runs. Time to go to sleep zzzzzzzzz.
