All I wanted for Christmas was a new fleece, but I got a new jacket instead. :(

Night shifts - 3/6 complete
In case you didn’t know, I’ve been shadowing/interning night shifts at Kaiser SF for the past 2ish weeks.
Had a pretty long shift last night… CVICU was overflowing so they called the nurse that I shadow (my mom’s friend) in early, at 4:00 PM in the afternoon yesterday. Shift was over at 7 this morning, so we stopped by Hobees for breakfast before I crashed at home.

My dad is off visiting someone that has 8 days to live, according to doctors.
What would I be thinking if I only had 8 days to live? What would be my regrets? What would I want to do in the 8 days that I had left to live?
I guess I’ll never know as long as I know I have more than 8 days to live.
